Co-Founder | Academic Director

Siobhán is Co-Founder and Academic Director of the Irish Menopause Institute. She brings over 20 years’ experience in education and healthcare-related learning, with a strong background in designing and delivering practical, accessible and high-quality programmes.

Her work is grounded in real-world learning, professional standards and a deep commitment to supporting people. Siobhán is known for her warmth, dedication and integrity. She is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and ensuring women receive the standard of support they deserve.

Her focus is clear: To make menopause education more consistent, accessible and trusted.

Sarah Meehan

Co-Founder | Director of Business, Innovation & Partnerships

Sarah is Co-Founder of the Irish Menopause Institute. She brings over 23 years’ experience in education, along with an international background in business, marketing, strategy and stakeholder engagement.

Sarah has extensive experience in educational leadership, business development, partnership building and programme innovation. Her work has focused on creating strong learning environments and delivering meaningful outcomes for learners, professionals and organisations.

Driven by lived experience and a clear sense of purpose, Sarah identified the need for better support in women’s health and wellbeing. She co-founded the Institute to help raise standards, build strong partnerships and create accessible, impactful pathways for women, professionals, workplaces and communities.

Her focus is clear: To turn understanding into action and create lasting impact.

Our Commitment

Everything we do is guided by our mission to raise the standard of menopause education, understanding and support in Ireland.

We do not replace medical care, diagnosis or treatment. Where medical support is needed, we encourage appropriate pathways to GPs, prescribing practitioners, specialists and allied health professionals.

Our role is to inform, educate, guide and support; helping women make confident, informed choices.
